J.G. HERTZLER

PRIOR TO HIS INCARNATION AS MARTOK, NEWLY APPOINTED CHANCELLOR OF THE KLINGON EMPIRE,  J. G. HERTZLER APPEARED ON "STAR TREK" AS THE VULCAN CAPTAIN OF THE STARSHIP SARATOGA IN THE "STAR TREK: DEEP SPACE NINE" PILOT EPISODE ENTITLED "EMISSARY".

 

BEFORE THAT, HERTZLER'S CAREER HAD INCLUDED SOME 40 EPISODES OF "THE NEW ZORRO" FOR THE FAMILY CHANNEL, STARRING AS ZORRO'S ARCH NEMESIS ALCALDE IGNACIO DeSOTO.

 

OTHER TELEVISION AND FILM APPEARANCES INCLUDE EPISODES OF "QUANTUM LEAP," "SEINFELD," "DR. QUINN," "DIAGNOSIS MURDER," "LOIS AND CLARK," "GENERAL HOSPITAL" AND "ONE LIFE TO LIFE."

HERTZLER WILL SOON BE SEEN PLAYING THE ROLE OF RIDLEY SCOTT, ACCLAIMED DIRECTOR OF THE MOTION PICTURES "ALIEN" AND "BLADE RUNNER," IN THE TELEVISION MOVIE OF THE WEEK "PIRATES OF SILICON VALLEY."
